IRBManager will transition to an updated platform, OneAegis, on July 1, 2026. OneAegis is developed by the same company that provides IRBManager and will serve as the centralized system for all ODU Compliance Committees, including the IRBs, IBCs, and IACUCs, across both campuses. OneAegis will go live on July 1, 2026, and users will be able to log in at the beginning of that day. Current IRBManager users will notice an updated interface, but navigation should be straightforward by following the training materials.
Important: If you currently use IRBManager, please do not submit new studies until OneAegis is available on July 6, 2026. During this transition period, amendments, continuing reviews, and other miscellaneous submissions may continue to be submitted through IRBManager as usual. Any new study submissions entered into IRBManager prior to July 6th will not transfer to OneAegis. As a result, studies submitted before that date will most likely need to be resubmitted in OneAegis beginning July 6th. There is no alternative process available to transfer or process these new study submissions, so please plan accordingly.

In anticipation of the platform change to OneAegis, Medical Campus IBC has stopped accepting SciShield registrations and amendments for review. All committee business will now go through OneAegis upon platform initiation.
