Precon Marine, Inc. is seeking a motivated intern to support its Marine Construction Estimating team. This opportunity is ideal for students in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields seeking hands-on experience in estimating, project planning, and marine construction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost estimates for marine construction projects
- Review plans, specifications, and project documents
- Support project planning, cost analysis, and risk assessment activities
- Help gather pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
- Gain experience with estimating processes and industry tools
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in construction, estimating, and project management
Requirements:
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work on-site in Chesapeake, VA
