ODU SAE (also known as ODU Motorsports) is one of the university's oldest student-led organizations; as such, we pride ourselves in the work we do and what we've accomplished together. If you're looking for an engineering organization that'll help you grow your skill sets and give you a place to apply your theoretical knowledge, then this is the place for YOU.
We design, manufacture, and test our own vehicles, made in-house by students of all skill levels. We'll teach you skills that'll help you stand out from your peers and leave you better prepared for your senior year capstone and beyond, including your career. We, as an organization, specialize in CAD work, in-house manufacturing, prototyping, machining, and other applicable areas that'll likely be present in your engineering career.
We welcome students of ALL majors and skill levels!
We start regular team meetings next Tuesday, 9/9 (Formula), and Thursday, 9/11 (Baja), during Activity Hour (12:30 pm-1:30 pm). Are you interested in joining one of our teams or learning more about what we do in motorsports? Feel free to stop by our Motorsports Lab in ESB 1135 (open weekdays from 11 am to 6 pm).
