Description
HOMEsick is a world premiere stage play from Emmy-nominated writer, director, producer and performer Deborah Wallace, exploring the myth of the American Dream. What are we, as a nation, really searching for, and where are we heading? And what if our collective dream has been reduced to a cautionary parable?

Fourteen pioneers are on a wagon train heading west, in search of a new life; they find instead betrayal. This past being prologue, we fast-forward to the present day, where politicians travel the campaign trail, immigrants journey towards our border, addicts trip into opioid dreams – people are still looking for a place to call Home….and betrayal is still around every corner, the Promised Land still elusive.
