- Description
- La fayette is a theatrical and choreographic show conceived by Christine Jeannin, a former dancer from the Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux. 10 dancers with a background in classical ballet and hip-hop will perform with a backdrop of video projections and voice-offs (with English subtitles translated by Dr. Elizabeth Black’s FR 407 student). They will tell the story of the Marquis de Lafayette, a man who, “with all his might,” fought for the well-being of all and freedom everywhere. There will be a Q and A after each performance and the direct descendant of the Marquis will be in attendance on the 19th.
