Description
Ocean Vuong is the author of the poetry collection Night Sky with Exit Wounds. A 2014 Ruth Lilly fellow, he has received honors from Poets House, The Civitella Ranieri Foundation, The Elizabeth George Foundation, and The Academy of American Poets. He received a 2016 Whiting Award, a 2014 Pushcart Prize, and the 2012 Stanley Kunitz Prize for Younger Poets. His poems have appeared in the Best New Poets, Boston Review, Kenyon Review, The Nation, New Republic, The New Yorker, Poetry, and Tri-Quarterly. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, he lives in New York City.
