ODU Named a National College of Distinction for the 2022-23 Academic Year
The University also received "Field of Study" badges for its business, education, engineering, nursing and career development programs, and was recognized for its efforts in equity and inclusion and military support.

Across Campus - A Photo Essay
Old Dominion University recently hosted ODU BLAST (Building Leaders for Advancing Science and Technology), a residential STEM-related program for 80 rising ninth- and 10th-grade students and eight teacher/chaperones from across Virginia. A Picture is Worth...
On June 24 at S.B. Ballard Stadium, Old Dominion University presented the second screening of its summer movie series. ODU students and local residents came out to watch "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore." The remaining films in the series, which is free and open to the public: "Fatherhood" (July 15) and "Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" (July 28).
