Across Campus - A Photo Essay
The annual march to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was held Jan. 19. More than 85 students gathered at Brock Commons and marched down Monarch Way, through the campus and ended at the Webb Center. The Nu Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity organized the event, which was themed " Break the Silence." The march was followed by a short ceremony and refreshments at Webb Center. A Picture is Worth...
Gabriela Zapatero McWhorter's three-minute thesis, "Autism and Animals," was about using therapy dogs to enhance social skills of children with autism. She was a competitor in the Three Minute Thesis, also known a, 3MT. The event was held at the University Theatre on Jan. 18.
