Across Campus - A Photo Essay

The ENGN 110 Exploration of Engineering & Technology class launched student built model rockets with onboard altimeters (inserted as payloads) to gather flight data for team project reports. The main educational goal of this project is to study the major methods to estimate the apogee and confirm the theoretical results using extensive field experiments. Under the watchful eyes of Dr. Huseyin Sarper, the experiments were conducted in the parking lot of Whitehurst Beach.
