Old Dominion President John R. Broderick used the dedication of a new state-of-the art dining facility to make an impassioned plea for a more inclusive University community.

The Kate and John R. Broderick Dining Commons was dedicated Sept. 23 in honor of the President and First Lady's contributions to diversity and inclusion within the campus community. The event attracted more than 1,500 people, some of whom are pictured here in the building's rotunda that prominently features the University seal.
