Across Campus - A Photo Essay
Each year, to celebrate the March 2 birthday of iconic children's author Theodor Seuss Geisel, who was more commonly known as Dr. Seuss, the Village Bookstore puts on a free celebration that attracts a large crowd from the University and broader community. The Feb. 27 event included story time readings, free hats and balloons, birthday cupcakes, games and activities. Readings were conducted by instructors from the Child Study Center as well as volunteers from the University's art education program and the REACH (Reading Enriches All Children) organization.
