Men's and Women’s Basketball Teams Continue Postseason Play Tonight

Both the ODU men's and women's basketball teams have advanced to the second round of their respective postseason tournaments and will play again tonight.

The Monarchs, who are now in the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational following their first-round win over South Dakota State last Wednesday, host Radford at 7 p.m. at the Ted Constant Convocation Center. All tickets are general admission and priced at $10. ODU students will be admitted free with a university ID. The Lady Monarchs travel to Auburn for a 7 p.m. game tonight in the second round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament. On Thursday night, ODU beat Navy at the Ted, 68-60. Shae Kelley scored a game-high 22 points and became just the fifth Lady Monarch to score 1,000 career points in her first two seasons at ODU. Starting for just the third time this season, Michelle Brandao tied her career high with eight points and dished out a career-best nine assists to help lead the way for ODU.
