Global Café: Israel Set for March 6 at Intercultural Center

Rabbi Gershon Litt, adviser to Hillels at all Virginia universities, will speak at the Office of Intercultural Relation's Global Café: Israel program on Thursday, March 6.

Scheduled for 12:30-2 p.m. in the Intercultural Center (Room 2114) at Webb Center, the event is part of a series that is designed to bring together international and American members of the campus community to meet new friends and learn about other countries and cultures.

Litt has led 22 trips to Israel in the past decade, and lived in Jerusalem after his graduation from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997. He is currently executive director of the Norfolk Kollel, a not-for-profit educational organization.

Co-sponsors of Global Café: Israel include ODU Hillel, Monarch Dining and Student Engagement and Enrollment Services.
