Light Rail to ODU? Workshop on Extending the Tide Set for Feb. 25

Hampton Roads Transit is sponsoring a workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the Ted Constant Convocation Center's Big Blue Room about extending the Tide light rail system to the Norfolk Naval Station. Several alignment considerations, including bringing the Tide to ODU as part of the extension, will be discussed.

Members of the ODU community are invited to attend the meeting to learn about the project and leave comments.

Other identical workshops (same time) are scheduled for:

  • Monday, Feb. 24 - Granby High School
  • Wednesday, Feb. 26 - Norfolk Waterside Marriott.
