Transfer Orientation is an optional, one-day on-campus orientation experience for new students who meet the transfer credit threshold requirement. Freshman students are not eligible to participate in Transfer Orientation and must participate in Discover Your Pride.
During Transfer Orientation, students will build connections with your community, assemble and interact with your distinctive success team, including the Transfer Center, and prepare for pathways to enrollment and engagement.
Transfer students do not participate in Explore Your Kingdom or Rule Your Dominion. Check your ODU email for Transfer Orientation registration information. The cost for guest participation is $50 per person and is due at the time of registration.
Below are a selection of important tasks and opportunities to complete during June and July:
- Submit Final Transcripts from any Prior Institutions
- Review Student Financial Account
- Get a Monarch ID
- Participate in First-Year Summer Institute
