ODU students will have the opportunity to participate in a small group discussion with Claudia Rankine, author of "Citizen: An American Lyric," when she visits campus as a part of the President's Lecture Series on February 21. Co-sponsored by the NEA Big Read: Hampton Roads and the President's Task Force on Inclusive Excellence, this discussion will be centered on the book and include participants from across Hampton Roads.
Students are invited to submit a creative work that expresses their feelings or reactions to a vignette from the book "Citizen." This work can be in any medium and will be accepted from January 12 - February 7 through the competition website. Please encourage your students to apply!
