The IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society (NPSS) has launched a new initiative to publish educational briefs written by experts to educate non-experts and laypeople about plasma and its various applications. These educational briefs will also be used by NPSS in outreach events. The name of these publications is "The Plasma Connection" and Dr. Mounir Laroussi was appointed as the editor of these educational briefs.
