The Office of University Events plans and administers all major University events, conferences, and public functions as directed by the President of Old Dominion University.

Mission

To plan and administer all major university events, conferences and public functions in a manner that enhances the image of Old Dominion University to its many constituencies.

Means of Implementation

  • University Events continually presents Old Dominion University in the manner consistent with the University mission
  • Identify creative public relations and marketing opportunities, through events and functions, to showcase initiatives, programs, and personnel
  • Conceptualize and identify appreciation opportunities to faculty, staff and students
