Hours Data & Calendar Icons
Hours Data in the Portal
Hours of operation data from all Places pages is now being displayed in the myODU Portal.
If you have one or more Places pages, it is important that you actively maintain your hours of operation for your places. Students, faculty and staff will be able to easily see all hours of operations in one place in the myODU Portal.
For assistance with populating and/or updating the hours of operations for your place(s), please contact your WebComm liaison.
Calendar Icons
Calendar Icons Now Available
All calendar pages and associated calendar entry pages now have icons associated with them. The icons and associated categories appear at right.
Initially, these icons will appear next to each event in the calendars that appear in the myODU portal. This fall, new List Events views will be developed for the WCMS that will enable you to display the icons in your calendar listings in your pages in the WCMS.
Overall Icon per Calendar
Each calendar has a primary icon. By default, every event that you create from your calendar will use the main calendar icon.
The default icon is the "calendar" icon that appears at the top of the list of icons. To change your icon, enter the page properties for your main calendar page (calendar.html) and select a new default icon for your calendar. Be sure to activate your main calendar page after changing your icon.

If you do not want your event to use your calendar's icon, you can set a different icon for the event.
You can access the calendar icon dropdown through the page properties for your event's page. Be sure to activate your calendar entry to commit your selected icon to the live site.
