Sale and Removal of Antique Phonographs
<p> The Department of Procurement Services’ Property Control Office is conducting a Sealed Bid Process for the Sale and Removal of Antique Phonographs. The bid process is open to faculty, staff, students, and the general public.</p> <p> Instructions for all interested bidders, terms and conditions and associated addendum are outlined in the attached document. Bidders shall provide their pricing utilizing the attached “Pricing Schedule” and shall return this pricing information with their response. It is imperative that sealed bids be received by the Procurement Services Office; 4401 Powhatan Ave; by <strong>March 10, 2014, NLT 2:00 PM local time</strong>. Bids time-stamped 2:01 P.M. or later will not be considered, and will be returned to the bidder unopened. THERE ARE NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON ANY ITEMS LISTED. Sale is “<strong>As Is – Where Is” </strong>and without warranty.</p> <p> Phonographs can be inspected prior to the submission of a bid. A viewing has been scheduled starting February 24, 2014 – March 7, 2014 held at the University’s Property Control Warehouse. Site visit will be scheduled between the hours of <strong>9:00 AM to 4:00 PM</strong>. All viewing of equipment will terminate at 4:00 PM each day. In addition, digital pictures as shown within the attached “Pricing Schedule”.</p> <p> Successful bidders must make payment to the University within one (1) calendar days from date of notice of award. Upon receipt of award, payment can be made by Money Order, Cashier’s or Certified Check payable to Old Dominion University. Upon full payment to the University, property must be removed within 10 business days between the hours of 9:00a.m. - 4:00p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding University holidays.
