New: Update expiring MIDAS passwords from any Monarch-Key Web Login page

Upgrades to Monarch-Key Web Login this weekend will bring new functionality and improvements to our single-sign on system. The most noticeable change will be that you can update expiring MIDAS passwords from any Monarch-Key Web Login page.

Currently, the only way to update a password that is expired or close to expiration is to go specifically to the website midas.odu.edu. After the upgrade this weekend, any Monarch-Key login page (that is, any page where you enter your MIDAS ID and password to authenticate to a MIDAS-integrated service) will alert you if your password is about to expire and give you the option to change it directly from that page.

Because you are much more likely to see a Monarch-Key login page than you are to visit midas.odu.edu on a regular basis, it should be significantly easier for you to remember to change your password before it expires.
