College Journals
One of the oldest peer reviewed journals in international conflict and security, Contemporary Security Policy promotes theoretically-based research on policy problems of armed violence, peace building and conflict resolution. Since it first appeared in 1980, CSP has established its unique place as a meeting ground for research at the nexus of theory and policy.
The journal is edited by Regina Karp, Associate Professor of International Studies and Director of International Studies programs, and Aaron Karp, Instructor in Political Science at ODU.
The Journal of Race and Policy (JRP) was conceived at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia in 2004. The mission of the journal is to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of research on public policy issues and initiatives in areas such as education, employment, health care, political participation, social welfare, and social justice.
Michael C. Clemons, Founding Editor of JRP, is Associate Professor in the Political Science and Geography Department at ODU.
