ODU Football Accepts Coats for Families at Nov. 14 Game
November 05, 2015
Grab your coat - and donate it to Coats for Families at Old Dominion University's home football game on Nov. 14
Coats for Families is an annual drive to distribute new and gently used coats to local families in need. The partnership of Old Dominion's Women's Initiative Network, led by First Lady Kate Broderick, ODU's athletic department and WAVY-TV 10 encourages Monarch fans to bring coats to drop off before that day's noon kickoff against Texas-El Paso.
Donation boxes will be located at the entrances to S.B. Ballard Stadium and on Kaufman Mall, beginning at 8 a.m. Coats without rips or tears are welcomed. All sizes are needed, but especially children's coats.
Game tickets can be purchased online and at the Ted Constant Convocation Center box office, although a ticket is not required to donate a coat.
