Center for Learning and Teaching Wins National Award

Old Dominion's Center for Learning and Teaching (CLT) has received an Exemplary Teaching & Learning Center award.

When the Teaching & Learning Institute and the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning at Florida State College at Jacksonville completed a recent national study of higher education teaching and learning centers, 107 colleges and universities throughout the country responded.

As a part of the study, the centers were asked to self-nominate if they believed they were doing exemplary work in this area, and to provide evidence of such work.

A committee reviewed data from the 29 responding institutions and identified a total of 12 finalists, of which ODU's Center for Learning and Teaching was one.

CLT received the award at the 25th International Conference on College Teaching and Learning in late March.
