ODU Theatre Production of 'Really, Really' Opens April 9 at Goode Theatre

"Really, Really," a play by Paul Downs Colaizzo, directed by Patrick Mullins, opens Wednesday, April 9, at the Goode Theatre.

Hailed by the New York Observer as "unexpected and thrilling," and "a brilliant new play" by the Washingtonian, "Really, Really" comes to Old Dominion directly from MCC Theatre in New York. The New York Times described the play a "the Lord of the Flies with smartphones."

After a huge house party given on campus by a group of rugby players, a young woman accuses one of the players of rape. What transpires questions the nature of friendship and the ethics of ambition.

"Really, Really" contains strong language, violence and sexual content and is not suitable for those under 18.

The Old Dominion University Theatre production will be performed at 7:30 p.m. April 9-12 and 16-19, and at 2 p.m. April 13. Tickets are $20 for general admission and $15 for students. For tickets, go to oduartstix.com or call 683-5305.
