Nominations for HACE Staff Member, Rookie Staff Member of the Year Due April 4

The Hourly and Classified Employees Association is accepting nominations through Friday, April 4, for the HACE Staff Member and Rookie Staff Member of the Year awards. To request a nomination form, contact Jarin Cornish at jcornish@odu.edu.

The HACE Awards Committee is looking for classified or hourly employees who deserve to be recognized for their countless contributions to the university and community. These two awards will be presented at the annual HACE Luncheon in May.

STAFF MEMBER OF THE YEAR: Any classified or hourly employee with more than two years of service to ODU. Recognition for award includes cash award, reserved parking space for one year, framed certificate, engraved nameplate on plaque in Webb Center and complimentary tickets to various university events.

ROOKIE STAFF MEMBER OF THE YEAR: Any classified or hourly employee with at least six months, but no more than two years, of service to the university prior to April 4, 2014. Recognition for award includes cash award, framed certificate, engraved nameplate on plaque in Webb Center and complimentary tickets to various university events.
