Free Diabetes Risk Screening Offered March 25

National Diabetes Alert Day is Tuesday, March 25, and members of the campus community are invited to get a free diabetes risk screening from 12:30-6:30 p.m. at the Student Recreation Center, in the EZone area. This includes completing a simple risk test, having your blood pressure measured and more.

On Diabetes Alert Day, you can also have your A1C tested for only $20 for faculty and staff, and $15 for students with ID. This extremely sensitive, medical-grade test can give you an accurate picture of your blood sugar levels in less than seven minutes. f you don't want to wait until March 25 to have an A1C test, contact Jennifer Brown in the Department of Human Movement Sciences at jbrow126@odu.edu to set up a 10-minute appointment.
