University Libraries to Shine Spotlight on Marketing Department Scholarship

The University Libraries will shine a spotlight in November on the research and recent scholarly output of Old Dominion's Department of Marketing. The department, located in the College of Business and Public Administration, boasts diverse research programs that include marketing ethics, male and female role portrayals in advertising, consumers' financial well-being, retailing and customer services.

An exhibit in the Learning Commons at Perry Library from Nov. 4-30 will feature statements of current research, as well as selected journal articles and books from the past five years.

Marketing department faculty members will discuss some of their recent work at a reception from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the Learning Commons Conference Room (1310). Faculty, staff and students are welcome to attend.
