Annual Security and Fire Safety Report Available

Old Dominion 's Annual Security and Fire Safety report for the 2012 year is now available. This report is published as required by federal law and contains policy statements, fire safety information for residence halls and crime statistics for the university.

According to Rhonda Harris, chief of police and director of public safety, the policy statements address ODU's policies, procedures and programs concerning safety and security - for example, policies for responding to emergency situations and sexual offenses. Additionally, three years of statistics are included for certain types of crimes that were reported to have occurred on campus, in or on off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by ODU, and on public property within or immediately adjacent to the campus.
