ODU President Brian O. Hemphill, Ph.D., will deliver his second State of the University address at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 in Chartway Arena.

During the address, President Hemphill will highlight recent University achievements and outline ambitious plans for ODU’s academics, campus and community. 

In President Hemphill's first State of the University address, he announced plans for the University's new School of Data Science and the expanded baseball facility. The President also announced that the University was in the final stages of submitting a proposal to the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia regarding the School of Data Science.

This year's event is free and open to ODU students, faculty and staff.

When: Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, 10 a.m

Parking: Parking will be available at the Constant Center 43^rd Street Garage.
