Pursuant to President Joe Biden's Presidential Proclamation to lower the United States flag, Governor Glenn Youngkin ordered the flags of the United States of America and the Commonwealth of Virginia be flown at half-staff over all local, state and federal buildings and grounds in Virginia in memory of U.S. Representative Jim Hagedorn.

Hagedorn, a representative from Minnesota, died at 59 on Feb. 17.

The flags shall be lowered at sunrise on Friday, February 18, 2022, and remain at half-staff until sunset.
