Old Dominion University’s Alumni Association will accept nominations for its 40 Under 40 Class of 2023 in February.

This annual recognition is designed to recognize Monarch alumni under age 40 who “are trailblazers in their respective careers and serve their communities with passion and innovation, ultimately solving issues that affect our world today.” This will be the third group of Monarchs to be honored since the recognition program was launched in 2020.

Nominations for the 2023 class will be open Feb. 1-28. They can be submitted at this link. Winners will be notified April 14, and a public announcement will be made May 16.

To be eligible for this honor, nominees:

  • Must have attended ODU with a minimum of 60 undergraduate-level credit hours or 30 graduate-level credit hours.
  • Must be under age 40 as of April 14.
  • Must have made an impact in business, research, entrepreneurial, leadership, community, educational or philanthropic endeavors.
