EnMed is an interdisciplinary institute dedicated to advancing research and education at the intersection of engineering, medicine, health, and human performance. By connecting faculty, students, and partners across academic, industry, healthcare, and military communities, EnMed works to translate ideas into practical solutions with real-world impact.
EnMed operates through two primary domains: Research and Education. The Research Component encompasses (1) Basic Science and Applied Research, and (2) Translational Research and Commercialization. The Educational Component consists of (1) the Biomedical Engineering Program, and (2) the Continuing Education Program.
Message from the Director
Welcome to EnMed. We envision a future in which interdisciplinary collaboration drives transformative progress in healthcare, biomedical discovery, and human performance. Our institute was created to bring together diverse expertise, shared purpose, and innovative thinking in order to address some of today’s most important challenges in medicine and health.
At EnMed, we are committed to fostering a culture of excellence in research, education, and partnership. We invite students, faculty, clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders to engage with us as we advance knowledge, cultivate talent, and translate ideas into solutions that make a lasting difference.
