The Banner Training program is provided for Banner users throughout the University community who need to learn the skills necessary to use the administrative computer system. The Office of Finance Communications & Training Coordinator, Amanda Dunlap, is the facilitator for all classes.

In person trainings are temporarily suspended at this time. A video training option is available on the respective Banner Finance and Banner General Student Training Pages in place of each monthly session, and one-on-one sessions may be offered at the Communications & Training Coordinator's discretion.   • Banner Training is NOT required before obtaining a Banner Account, and class attendance does NOT grant automatic Banner Access! To obtain Banner Access, follow the online request process found on the Online Services/Account Requests.
  • You do not need to have a Banner account before reviewing the training resources.
  • We recommend users review the "Banner Intro & Basics Handouts" before reviewing the Banner training resources to familiarize themselves with Banner.
