Final Project

Each student will complete a budget for a two-year public college. A case study-type outline will be distributed and discussed during November. Pay particular information to justifying every decision you make. 

There are no absolute right or wrong answers. Again, the key is the justification you use to support your decision.

Decision matrix:

1. What variables will you consider in each decision?

2. What stakeholders will be involved in each decision?

3. Describe the decision-making process.

The justification for your decisions will no doubt draw from your experience, research and theory, etc.Think about what you have learned in the course, particularly about "entrepreneurial" activities including strategic partnerships in the community, etc.

This is not solely a math exercise. I will provide some very general budget numbers to guide your planning (which is typical in the early stages of real budgeting). As part of this assignment, please fill in the blanks for the 2010-11 budget (you may make this into a table) and include it in your paper.

Please limit your paper to a maximum of 12 pages. There is no minimum number of pages.

I have no preconceived expectation what the format for your paper will be - that is entirely up to you. HOWEVER, use APA style when/where appropriate.
