CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT IN OCCUPATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Lecture 3 hours; 3 credits.  A course designed to prepare students to design and develop curriculum for occupational education and training courses and programs. Included is a focus on articulation between secondary and community college and workforce needs.

The realms of advanced curriculum studies are learned.  Emphasis is place on curricular foundation, content analysis, and document and learner evaluation.  Students develop a curriculum in an area of interest.
