INTRODUCTION TO TECHNOLOGY

3 credits. Order and structure the discipline of technology by identifying and analyzing the component parts and examining technical means as critical variables in the affairs of humankind. Based on the Standards for Technological Literacy.

A critical analysis of the knowledge base and systems organized for the study of technology.  The social cultural and environment influences of technology are analyzed. Standards for Technological Literacy are explored and used.  Teaching methods appropriate to teaching and training are applied.
