EXAMS
There are four exams scheduled for the class. The exams will be based upon the lectures, discussions, readings, and video programs. The exams will consist of objective and short answer questions and data analysis. Be mindful of exam dates. Students will have the opportunity to make up one (1) exam without a penalty. A student taking more than one make-up exam will have five points deducted from each of these exams.
Notice 1: If your cell phone goes off during an exam, 5 points will be deducted from that exam. You have been warned!
Notice 2: Make-up exams will take place in the Learning Assessment Center, first floor, in the Gornto Center.
Saturday is the only day for make-up exams at the Learning Assessment Lab. It is your responsibility to contact the Center to make an appointment (see appointment procedure below). You must take the make-up exam no later than one week after the scheduled exam (unless you can provide a reasonable explanation why you need to take the make-up exam at a later time). My advice: take the make up exam sooner rather than later.
To schedule an appointment:
- Go on-line at http://clt.odu.edu/lal/. Click "Saturday only make-up exams" and complete the on-line form
- Print out your approved registration receipt and bring it with you on your exam day
- Register no later than Thursday for the following Saturday
- Make up exams are scheduled for 8 am to 1 pm. Make sure you arrive at least one hour prior to closing time on Saturday
- Note: if you have any problems registering online, visit the Learning Assessment Lab in person. It is located on the first floor of the Gornto Building next to BAL.
