MKTG 414 - Ethics & Social Issues in Administration

ABOUT THE COURSE

 

Learning Goals: (1) to examine the major ethical/social issues confront­ing business professionals, (2) to examine the ethical/social decision-making process of business professionals, (3) to provide frameworks to help resolve the ethical/social dimensions of business decisions, and (4) to provide experience in making business decisions that involve ethical/social dilemmas through the use of case studies and other class projects.

 

Conduct/Requirements: The course will utilize a combination of pedagogical techniques including: textual material, readings (current and classic articles), case analyses, and other class projects.  A seminar format will be employed.  According­ly, the student will be required to prepare and partici­pate (i.e., "contribute") regularly.
