Come explore Lambert's Point and add your story to the ongoing digital oral history project, Mapping Lambert's Point. No story is too small. Everyone's story matters. Your story makes the Lambert Point neighborhood a unique and important part of Norfolk.
An ongoing project that collects stories from past and present Lambert's Point residents and embeds them into a virtual map accessible online. At the launch event, we will:
Reveal the website, populated with early 20th Century stories
Display a poster exhibit, featuring highlights from the website
Listen to remarks from ODU President John R. Broderick and ODU Associate Professor of African American History, Dr. Michael Hucles
Collect your stories to add to the website and Lambert's Point history
