- The focus of this 4 person panel will be to bring professionals from different career fields to discuss being an openly gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer or straight ally in the workplace. The panelists will be asked to discuss their professional background, any positive or negative experiences they have encountered due to their identity in their careers, ways to prepare for the specific careers and how they feel their identity translates into a particular field. After the introductions and panelists insight students will have the opportunity to ask questions (time permitting). This event will also be a great networking experience for students to meet professionals in their desired career field.
