- Join the Office of Research for a conversation with Amirah Nelson, Senior Outreach Officer with the Fulbright Specialist Program. We will provide an overview of the specialist program, the application process, and discuss what happens once you have been placed on the roster. The impact of COVID and the program's responses to its challenges will also be addressed. The Fulbright Specialist Program is a program of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and provides U.S. citizens who are established professionals or academics and possess expertise in qualifying disciplines with the opportunity to engage in short-term (2-6 week) project-based exchanges at host institutions around the globe.
