Kelly Romano and Jennise Higgins Win Awards
Congrats to Kelly Romano and Jennise Higgins. Kelly won Virginia Academy of Sciences Raymond H. Kirby Award for Best Graduate Student Presentation in the Psychology Section for her presentation titled, Gender and racial differences in patterns of disordered eating behavior and alcohol misuse among young adults: A mixed model. Kelly is a student in the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. Her coauthor is Dr. Kristin Heron. Jennise won the Raymond H. Hirby Award for Best Undergraduate Student Presentation for her poster titled, Social support as a moderator of the negative effects of moral injury among veterans. Jennise is an undergraduate student majoring in psychology. Her coauthor is Dr. Alan Meca. Pictured above is Jennise Higgins.
