The Griffins Find the Beauty in Nature on a Walk to the Pond
The ODU Griffins love using the campus of Old Dominion University as another tool for learning. This week, the Griffins were studying pond life including characteristics of the habitat and local pond animals such as the duck, turtle, and frog. To conclude their pond study, the Griffins brought their art boxes to the pond in the middle of ODU's campus to document using four of their five senses. The students each worked on a documentation sheet while sitting on the grass near the pond illustrating answers to these four questions:
- What do you see at the pond?
- What do you smell at the pond?
- What do you hear at the pond?
- What do you feel at the pond?
