Preschool Lions Put Their Skills to the Test When They Visited the New ODU Basketball Facility
The Lion's classroom had the opportunity to go on a tour of the basketball arena with the ODU Basketball Coach. The children were able to practice their skills by interacting with basketballs on the court. During this age, children are at different stages of motor growth and development. Increasing improvements of their fine and gross motor skills are being exhibited constantly. Basketball includes a variety of fundamental skills that can also be used in everyday tasks. For example, coordination, balance, manipulation, locomotion and teamwork. We are so grateful for the chance to be involved in the ODU community and take on new experiences in our surrounding buildings!
