  • Constitution - making revisions and will send out to general membership for approval
  • Partnership with Equity and Diversity - Renee Dunman shared E & D's support of the Caucus and expectations for the group
  • Reviewed the results of the survey

Future Goals/Ideas for the Group

  • Mentoring for new employees
  • Link with student groups to support them in their activities
  • Connect/partner with ODU Gay Cultural Studies in their endeavors
  • Be an advocacy group for LGBTQ rights (i.e. domestic partner benefits)

Things to do Over the Summer

  • Update listserv
  • Recruit co-chairs for the Caucus as well as other leadership roles
  • Set up monthly meetings for the fall term (suggested that they alternate between a Tuesday and Wednesday over the noon hour)
  • Finalize constitution
