Asian Students In America (A.S.I.A.)
A.S.I.A. is a student affinity group whose members are representatives from our Asian American student organizations. Committed to representing and highlighting the varied perspectives and lived experiences within our Asian American student communities, members are committed to building a strong Asian American university community, enhance connections between international Asian identifying students and Asian Americans, and raise awareness and knowledge of the history and current experiences of ethnic and racial groups in the United States who are of Asian descent
Asian Student Welcome Dinner
Celebrating Asian and Asian American culture, the Asian Student Welcome Dinner brings together students, Asian and Asian American university organizations, and faculty for an evening of music, dance, fellowship, and food.
Asian Seasons
The end of the spring academic year occurs during the nationally scheduled Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. To honor and acknowledge the culture, traditions, and history of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States, Asian Seasons consist of a series of fall and spring programs, activities, and events that reflect contemporary issues, challenges and cultural performances.

AAPI Student Organization Signature Events
A night dedicated to the showing of a play written and directed by our very own Culture Night Chair. The play features a major issue faced by Filipinos through a narrative format including cultural dances, music, art, and history. FASA members act and dance in the play that usually occurs in the spring semester, late March or early April.
Culture Night ShowCulture Night is an annual theatrical production that is held at a location near campus led by ODU Vietnamese Students Association. This production is a play that transpires into storytelling, including musical performances that represent modern and traditional Vietnamese culture.
