ODU Named Most Affordable Higher Education Institution in Virginia

Business Insider recently ranked Old Dominion University as the most affordable college in the Commonwealth.
Using data from the Chronicle of Higher Education, the publication examined tuition, fees, room and board at colleges and universities that were ranked in the top 220 by U.S. News & World Report.
The Business Insider ranking was among several top ratings the University recently received from national magazines and organizations, including The Princeton Review, MONEY magazine and SmartAsset. Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, which examines diversity and inclusion in higher education, recognized Old Dominion as one of the top producers of minority graduates in several fields, including STEM-H areas.

Diverse: Issues in Higher Education
- No. 1 for number of bachelor's degrees awarded in English language and literatures/letters to African-Americans.
- No. 4 for bachelor's degrees in social sciences to African-Americans.
- No. 8 for bachelor's degrees to African-Americans in engineering technologies and engineering-related fields.
- No. 9 for bachelor's degrees in English language and literatures/letters to all minorities, including African-American, Hispanic, Asian-American and Native American students.
- No. 15 for bachelor's degrees to Asian-Americans in engineering technologies and engineering-related fields.
- No. 18 for bachelor's degrees in engineering to African-Americans.
The Princeton Review
- Old Dominion named a "Best Regional College."
MONEY
- Old Dominion named one of the "Best Colleges."
SmartAsset
- Old Dominion ranked No. 9 for offering the best value among the Commonwealth's colleges and universities.
