10/17 - Old Dominion Selects Football Stadium Construction Manager

Following the competitive procedures required by the Virginia Public Procurement Act for the selection of a construction manager, Old Dominion University is pleased to announce the award for the reconstruction of the football stadium at Foreman Field to S.B. Ballard Construction Company.
It is anticipated that the contract agreement will be finalized by Oct. 20, 2017, with the Notice to Proceed commencing on Oct. 23, 2017. As the selected construction manager, S.B. Ballard Construction Company will work collaboratively with University staff and the University's selected architect/engineering design firm, Moseley Architects, and Moseley Architects' stadium design consultant Populous, during the Phase I design and programming processes for stadium reconstruction.
The Old Dominion Board of Visitors approved the reconstruction plan in June 2016.
