Dance Theatre Spring Concert Runs April 13-16

Old Dominion's University Dance Theatre will present its spring concert April 13-16 in conjunction with Old Dominion's Shakespeare 400 Years After: A Public Event. Shakespeare inspired several of the faculty pieces that will be performed.

The program features choreography by faculty from the University Dance Theatre, Danish contemporary dance guest artist Ann Sofie Clemmensen, and selected students.

Performances will be April 13-15 at 8 p.m. at the University Theatre. The performances April 16 are at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for the general public. They are available at ODUArtsTix.com.

A free preview of the concert will be presented Thursday, April 14 from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. at the University Theatre. Free parking is available in the garage located at 1060 W. 45th St.

The preview will showcase three selected performances from the concert, and will be followed by a discussion.
